Full-Year Equivalent Students are calculated by dividing total student credit hours by the number of credit hours constituting a full load. The divisor under semesters is 30 credit hours for undergraduate and professional courses and 20 credit hours for graduate courses.
All 0xxx, 1xxx, 2xxx and 3xxx level courses are defined as undergraduate. All 8xxx and 9xxx level courses are defined as graduate. The 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx level courses are identified with the level of the student (undergraduate, professional or graduate) taking the course so that the proper divisor is used to compute the FYE students.

FYE Calculation Under Quarters
Summer 1999 was the last term under quarters. The divisor was 45 credit hours for undergraduate and professional courses and 30 credit hours for graduate courses under quarters. All 1xxx and 3xxx level courses were defined as undergraduate. All 8xxx level courses were defined as graduate. The 5xxx level courses were identified with the level of the student taking the course so that the proper divisor was used to compute the FYE students.
